This tearoom is in a restored post-Civil War era red brick row home in historic downtown Mechanicsburg.

Owner Nancy Reppert opened her business in 1the tearoom in 1990. Next door is the Rosemary House, an herb and spice specialty shop owned by Susanna Reppert Brill. Both women are long-time members of The Royal-tea Club.

Afternoon tea includes:

• 4 sandwiches
• fresh fruit
• 2 homemade fresh-from-the-oven scones
• 3 petite desserts
• a bottomless pot of tea

Cost: $35, members; $40, guests.
