Welcome to
The Royal-tea Club

In the heart of Southern Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia, The Royal Tea Club, a members-only association, has been a cherished tradition for over 15 years, steeped in history and tradition. Established by a group of visionary women whose objective was to provide gathering events for other individuals for cultural and intellectual pursuits, while enjoying a nice cup of tea.

Women of diverse interests and talents, who are club members, come together monthly to foster friendships, promote the arts, and enjoy various speakers. We also enjoy themed teas for a variety of special interests.

Variety is the spice of life, so we visit a variety of tea rooms, throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. Travel is also an integral part of the clubโ€™s activities incorporating visits to tea rooms during our excursions. Our past trips have taken us to tea rooms in England, Scotland, Ireland, Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, North Carolina and South Carolina.

A Message From The Committee

Welcome to The Royal-tea Club, a tradition for over 15 years. As we celebrate our wonderful achievements, letโ€™s take time to reflect on the past, enjoy the present and look forward to a bright future!

We are continuing to build our Membership, which continues to be a fantastic achievement. Consider inviting a guest to attend one of our teas. But remember that only members can make reservations.

Enjoy everything our Club has to offer, as themed teas have been recently added to our list of events. Show your support by attending as many events as possible. These teas offer members the opportunity to visit with old friends and to mingle to build new friendships.

The Royal-tea Club is looking forward to a bright future with you in the forefront.

History

The Royal tea Club was started in February 2005 by a committee of women who just love to “do” tea. Our purpose is to have fun and fellowship. At least one tea event a month for members is scheduled March through December, usually in Maryland or Pennsylvania. We also love to travel, incorporating visits to more distant tea rooms on our trips. Our members are currently from Alabama, California, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. We never have membership “meetings” and average 300 members per year.
