Our holiday tea will be at a Club favorite, Higinbotham’s Tea Room, where the food is prepared daily and all homemade.
One of the oldest homes in New Oxford and winner of the 2009 Historic Gettysburg-Historical Preservation Award, the 1823 Federal-style building remains largely unchanged from its original form. Built by banker, John N. Hersh, the home has 12-foot ceilings, magnificent windows, and working fireplaces.
There is also a small gift shop, and New Oxford has many shopping opportunities including the Christmas Haus, just down the street.
