SUMMARY:Forney House\, Saturday\, Nov. 6
DESCRIPTION:This is a new tearoom in Hanover. The house was built in 1905 by the Forney family\, who had a farm outside of town. One of the sons moved to New York\, and when he returned to visit\, he wanted a more comfortable place to stay than the farmhouse. So he had the Forney House built and later sold it to his brother for $1. Mr. Forney invented a piece of equipment used in high speed trains in New York City and Chicago. \nIt is a beautiful house with a B&B on the second floor. Diane\, the current owner\, serves a wonderful tea with soup\, salad\, savories\, and sweets along with a bottomless pot of tea. \nNote: There are a total of nine steps to the tearoom. The staff is very happy to help if anyone has mobility issues. \nCost: $35.50 member\, $40.50 guest\nMaximum reservations (per tea): 30\nReservation deadline: 10/29 \nReservations
